Mae Charim National Park

Topography and climate
The park contains rugged mountains spreading north to south-west, at 300 to 1,652 meters above sea level. This is the source of headwaters of Nan river branches that fertilize the area.

The climate could be divided into 3 seasons: hot season from February to May, rainy season from June to October and cool season from November to February.

Tourist attractions

Lam Nam Wa raft floating trip: A funny soft adventure trip along the river. The raft stop at sandy beaches where people can swim. The scenes along the riverside are very beautiful, especially in winter months. The trip may not be possible during heavy rains.

Accommodations and facilities

How to get there
From Nan take the highway no. 1168 (Nan-Mae Charim) for 38 km. From Mae Charim continue south on the highway no. 1243 (Mae Charim - Nam Muab). At Ban Had Sai Moon follow the turn-off route to the left for 4 km to the park's headquarters.
