National Parks in the South

Sai Khow Waterfall National Park

Sai Khow national park covers 110 square kilometres area in Pattani, Yala and Nara Thiwat provinces of southern Thailand.

Mixture of mountain ranges, valley and plain are convered in the rain forest. Limestones and granite rocks are found in many places. Clay and sand are also spotted in some places. Long rainy season creates river streams and waterfalls.

Rainy season starts in May and ends in February, almost 10 months long. Heaviest rain is received between October and December. Quick dry season takes place February to April, during which the weather is not very hot compared to the central Thailand.
