Phu Lang Kar National Park

Phu Lang Ka national park covers an area in Ban Paeng district of Nakhon Phanom province and Say Ka district of Nong Khai province. It is approximately 50 square kilometers in area.

There are many hills standing alongside the Mekong river, many of them are sandy mountains. These are the head waters of many streams that run down into the Mekong. The highest peak is about 563 meters from the sea level. There are many famous orchid species and herbal plants growing in the park. A couple of waterfalls, cave complexes, and rock formations are highlights for the visitors.

Location
The park is located 220 km from Nong Khai, and 105 km from Nakhon Phanom. From Nong Khai you can take the highway 212 parallel to the Mekong river to Ban Paeng district of Nakhon Phanom province, from there it is only 6 km to the headquarters.

You can call the park at phone 042-513490.
